Pyaz (Onion) - 01 (barik kati hui),
Lahsun (Garlic) - 02 kaliyan (kuti huin),
Adrak (Ginger) - 1 inch ka tukda (kuti hui),
Fresh cream - 02 bade chammach (fenti hui),
Dhaniya powder (Coriander powder) - 02 chhota chammach,
Jira (Cumin) - 02 chhota chammach,
Makhan (Butter) - 02 chhota chammach,
Tel (Oil) - 02 bada chammach,
Punjabi garam masala/Garam masala powder - 01 chhota chammach,
Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) - 01 chhota chammach,
Lal mirch powder (Chilli powder) - adha chammach,
Hari dhaniya (Coriander leaf) - 01 chhota chammach (kati hui),
Namak (Salt) - svadanusar.
Dal Makhani Banane ki Recipe:
Dal Makhani banane ke liye sabse pahle fry pan men tel garam karen.
Tel garam hone par usmen jeera ka chhaunk lagayen. Iske bad pyaz, adarak, lahsun dalen aur sunahra hone tak bhunen.

Ab pan men ubli hui dal aur rajma mila den. Sath men fresh cream, butter milakar achchhi se chala den.
